Upholding Truth in an Untruthful World

Our Pastor is
Rev Timothy Wood

Wigmore Evangelical Free Church is a Christian Church and all of our beliefs are based on the Bible which is the infallible Word of God.

We believe that the only way to God (and to Heaven) is by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, God's Son, His death on the cross of Calvary and His resurrection from the dead on the third day.  Salvation is by God's grace alone and cannot be achieved by any good works that we may do.

We believe in one God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - who loves us, His children.

We also believe that God is a God of Justice and those who reject the salvation He offers will one day face Him as their Judge - a terrifying prospect.

Wigmore Evangelical Free Church is a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) and our beliefs are summarised in more detail on the FIEC website. Please click here.
